What to Expect

This Tanzania and Zanzibar journey pairs the surge of the Great Migration with the stillness of the Indian Ocean. You’ll start in Arusha, one of the country’s oldest towns, before heading for Tarangire National Park, where baobabs stand like sentinels above some of Tanzania’s biggest elephant herds. Next comes the Ngorongoro Crater, a wildlife-rich caldera with dense predator action and the chance of spotting black rhino on the crater floor. Then it’s the Serengeti: vast, restless plains where wildebeest and zebra move in their millions, and no two days follow the same script.

After the dawn drives and Serengeti spectacle, Zanzibar changes the tempo. Think white-sand beaches, reef-protected waters alive with coral fish, dhow sails at sunset and a pace dictated by tide and light. It’s Tanzania, both the wild and the waves.
