Frequently Asked Questions

We've taken the liberty to answer everything you may need to know about visiting Namibia

Namibia safaris usually start from around USD 400 per person per night for a well-planned self-drive journey and can reach USD 1,500 per person per night or more for luxury fly-in safaris. The final cost depends on the season, the routing, the lodge you choose, and how much ground you want to cover.

If you’re keen to explore Namibia, a minimum of 7 to 10 days gives you a good introduction, especially if you focus on Sossusvlei, Swakopmund and Etosha. Ideally, spend 10 to 14 days in Namibia so you can travel at a more comfortable pace and include more remote areas, such as Damaraland or the Skeleton Coast.

Namibia pairs well with Botswana, Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) and Cape Town (South Africa). Botswana adds a wetland safari contrast, Victoria Falls brings drama and spectacle, and Cape Town works well if you want to end with city, coast and wine country.
