What to Expect

This Kenya and Tanzania safari connects the landscapes that define East Africa – expansive and richly wild. Begin in Arusha, with Mount Meru rising above coffee country, then head into Tarangire National Park, where baobabs punctuate the horizon and magnificent elephant herds reign. Next, the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheatre packed with wildlife and big-cat energy.

From there, the Serengeti takes over: vast, open, and constantly in motion as the seasonal Great Migration threads across the plains. Cross into Kenya for the closing stretch in the Maasai Mara, where, from July-October, the spectacle peaks as herds surge across the Mara River and predators lie in wait.
